insurance coverage
after an owi conviction
If you are arrested and then convicted of any type of drunk driving offense, replica watches one of two things will happen to your automobile insurance coverage: 1) the insurance company will increase your premiums by a surcharge for the drunk driving (OWI - operating while under the influence) conviction, or 2) the insurance company will terminate your policy. Some insurance companies will refer those whom they are terminating to high risk insurance providers.
property damage
Insurance policies include provisions for coverage of property that is damage by a drunk driver, particularly if you are that driver. While most policies cover the property damage, you have to read your policy (or send it to your attorney) to ensure that you are covered. Many insurance companies will either drop the policy, or fail to renew it, if the person is convicted of an OWI and there was any property damage.
